Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how WZA Sports ("WZA Sports," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the SoCal Fitness Festival website (the "Site").
1. Information We Collect
The Site uses Google Analytics to understand overall traffic and how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrived. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information, which may include your IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited. This data is aggregated with traffic from other WZA Sports event sites and is used only to understand audience trends, not to identify you individually. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using tools like the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by using your browser's private/incognito mode or cookie-blocking settings.
The only other information you might share with us directly is through the Site's Contact and Press forms. When you submit one of those forms, your name, email address, and message are sent using your own device's default email application, addressed to team@wzasports.com. That information passes through your email provider, not through our servers: we do not store or have any other record of it beyond receiving the email itself.
2. Ticket and Registration Data
Spectator ticket purchases are processed entirely by Tixr, and athlete registrations are processed by each individual event's own registration platform (e.g., Wodapalooza, USA Weightlifting, Competition Corner). Any personal or payment information you provide during a purchase or registration is collected and handled by that third-party platform under its own privacy policy, not by us. We recommend reviewing the relevant platform's privacy policy before completing a purchase or registration.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information submitted through our Contact or Press forms solely to respond to your inquiry or route it to the appropriate team member. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties.
4. Third-Party Links
The Site links to third-party websites, including ticketing and registration platforms and partner/vendor sites (e.g., Tixr, Dreamers Market, USA Weightlifting). Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for how they collect or handle your information.
5. Hosting and Security
The Site is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which may process minimal technical data (such as request logs) as part of standard web hosting, caching, and security operations. This is separate from any tracking or analytics and is not used by us to identify individual visitors.
6. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Your Choices
You can opt out of Google Analytics as described in Section 1, or block cookies entirely in your browser settings. Beyond analytics, the only other information we hold is whatever you choose to email us through the Contact or Press form, so you can always simply not use those forms if you'd prefer not to share your name, email, or message with us. If you've already sent us a message and would like it deleted from our inbox, email team@wzasports.com and we'll take care of it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly.
